Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and proficiency in various dental technologies.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Utilize a 3D scanner for creating digital impressions when required.
Maintain infection control by sterilizing instruments and ensuring a clean working environment.
Document patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately.
Help manage patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining medical documentation and managing dental records.
Capable of developing a treatment plan and presenting it to the patient.
Skills
Proficiency in X-Ray techniques and safety protocols.
Experience with 3D scanning technology for dental applications.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Understanding of dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately.
Competence in medical documentation processes to maintain accurate patient records.
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
Skills in dental reception tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
