Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care, treatment planning, and patient education. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care in a comfortable environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorative work, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with practice protocols and legal requirements.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software for patient management.
Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
Experience in pediatrics is preferred, with the ability to provide care for children in a friendly manner.
Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus.
Skills in oral surgery, medical imaging, pediatric dentistry, and dental fabrication are highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
