Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Korean or Chinese speaking Dentist (in addition to English) to join our dental practice in Ridgefield, NJ or Flushing, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong background in general dentistry, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and preventive care.
Utilize Eaglesoft and Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments efficiently.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Provide education to patients on oral health practices and treatment options tailored to their needs.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care.
Manage pediatric dentistry cases with patience and understanding, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Keep accurate medical records and documentation of all patient interactions and treatments performed.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid NJ/NY state dental license with the ability to pass any required background checks.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix is preferred in addition to CareStream for X-Rays.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental office setting.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to perform root canal therapy and other general dentistry procedures effectively.

Pay: $600.00 - $3,500.00 per day

Weekends as needed
