Job Overview
Workweek Monday-ThursdayWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Assist with administrative tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the practice.
Experience
Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and documentation is essential.
Several years experience in assisting for general dentistry is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 34 per week
