Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. You will perform a variety of dental procedures, educate patients on oral health, and maintain accurate medical records.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Perform general dentistry procedures including fillings, extractions, and cleanings.
Provide specialized treatments such as root canal therapy and prosthodontics as needed.
Deliver pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for younger patients.
Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with practice policies and regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.
Skills
Proficient in general dentistry practices with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
Experience in root canal therapy and prosthodontics is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Knowledge of medical records management and documentation standards.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate patient information.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
