Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take medical imaging and assist with 3D scanning as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provide support in various dental specialties, including Prosthodontics and Endodontics.
Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
Skills
Proficient in medical imaging techniques and use of 3D scanners.
Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Ability to document medical information accurately and efficiently.
Experience in assisting during dental procedures, particularly in Prosthodontics and Endodontics.
Competence in monitoring vital signs and responding to patient needs effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and instruments.
