Weâre seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist who shares our commitment to patient education, preventive care, and teamwork.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Take and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
Document patient care accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Operate dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for scheduling and patient management.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Understanding of vital signs measurement and interpretation.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices.
Solid understanding of human anatomy related to oral health.
Experience or training in medical coding is a plus but not required.
