Morita Dentistry is looking for a passionate, skilled, and growth-minded full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team as both a provider and a leader. This role offers not only a competitive hourly rate for clinical work but also a unique leadership opportunity within our hygiene department, with an additional $15,000 annual stipend for Hygiene Growth Leader responsibilities, with opportunities for increases as the department expands and thrives.

Hygiene Growth Leader Responsibilities (In Addition to Clinical Care)
As the Hygiene Growth Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the hygiene department. Responsibilities include:
Enhancing Patient Care & Satisfaction
Ensuring a consistent, high-quality patient experience that prioritizes education, comfort, and optimal oral health outcomes.
Driving Growth & Innovation
Optimizing scheduling by analyzing appointment data and trends to make informed decisions that increase efficiency without compromising care quality.
Encouraging treatment acceptance and promoting both preventive and restorative services.
Experimenting with innovative techniques and processes to improve hygiene services, using data-driven insights and measurable outcomes to assess effectiveness and enhance patient care. The Hygiene Growth Leader will have the autonomy to propose and implement new approaches while aligning with the practiceâs goals and best practices.
Monitoring & Improving Key Metrics
Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators such as cancellations, booking lead times, and year-over-year hygiene production trends, using insights to implement strategies such as reducing last-minute cancellations, optimizing patient scheduling, and identifying trends in patient retention to improve overall department efficiency.
Identifying and addressing areas for improvement in patient retention and overall department performance.
Strategic Leadership & Team Collaboration
Standardizing systems to align with the practiceâs efficiency and growth goals.
Playing a key role in hiring and staffing decisions to ensure consistency and optimal team performance.
Leading ongoing improvements in patient care techniques and hygiene protocols.
Support Structure
You wonât be navigating this leadership role alone! Youâll have support from:
A Veteran Patient Care Coordinator â Assisting with scheduling and patient flow.
An Experienced Office Manager â Offering expertise in insurance, billing, and process optimization.
Direct Access to Leadership â Reporting directly to Dr. Morita, ensuring alignment with the practiceâs vision.
Compensation & Growth Opportunities
Competitive hourly rate for all clinical hygiene duties.
$15,000 annual stipend for Hygiene Lead responsibilities.
As the hygiene department grows, the stipend scales accordingly
Future career growth opportunities within the practice, including pathways to expanded leadership roles, increased responsibilities in practice operations, and involvement in strategic decision-making.
