Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, focusing on both pediatric and general dentistry. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education, infection control, and thorough documentation practices within a dental clinic environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including children in pediatric dentistry.
Review medical records and document patient histories accurately to ensure effective treatment planning.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide seamless patient care within the dental office setting.
Perform additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience in both pediatric dentistry and general dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of documentation review processes and medical records management.
Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a dental clinic environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
