Summary
We are a state of the art General Dental office in Ashburn seeking a positive, energetic, and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to providing comfortable and effective dental services.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care with a personal touch.
Focus on the patient experience, possessing the ability to provide outstanding and comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans effectively.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to provide optimal care.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
At least one year of experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right fit for our team.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with dental clinic operations and medical records management is advantageous.
A solid understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Demonstrate familiarity using iTero, intraoral cameras, and will be comfortable with treatment planning and co-diagnosing is preferred.
