Job Description
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental care.
Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, xrays and fluoride treatments.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Provide specialized care for children.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and dental charting using Eaglesoft.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in a dental office as a Hygienist
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Experience in pediatric dentistry
Proficiency in taking xrays
2 years of experience
Spanish is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
