Dental Hygienist - Gruffi Dental - New City, NY

Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take and dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations- Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories- Use iTero scanner for patient education and communication- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Keep accurate records of patient treatments and progress- Provide support in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Requirements:- Valid dental hygiene license in New York- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health, and medical terminology- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills- Ability to perform tasks with precision while maintaining patient comfort and safety
