Registered Dental Hygienist - Whitney Point Dental - Lisle, NY

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Part time or Full time positions available. Work hours are flexible. Our office is an easy commute from Binghamton or Cortland (20-30 minutes on I-81). Come work with a friendly and caring team!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental hygiene practices.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy on patients.
Take x-rays and conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Document patient care accurately, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessments and evaluations.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Skills

Proficient in using dental office systems, including Eaglesoft or similar software for documentation and patient management.
Experience with documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health and treatment plans.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
