Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with patients to educate them on proper oral hygiene practices and assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning.- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.- Take and develop dental x-rays.- Administer local anesthetics.- Assist the dentist during procedures.- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.- Conduct oral cancer screenings.- Provide post-operative instructions to patients.
Qualifications:- Valid Dental Hygienist license.- Proficiency in CAD, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software.- Knowledge of procedures and terminology.- Familiarity with Medical documentation and HIPAA regulations.- Ability to take accurate Vital signs.- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
