Job Summary:
Our growing independently owned and family-oriented general dental practice is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team! Our practice started over forty years ago, and more recently expanded into a new state-of-the-art space. This has created the opportunity for you to be a part of our community, with team members and patients alike having decades of relationships with the practice. As a small, patient-focused practice we have strived to maintain a comfortable, friendly feel for our team.
We are looking for someone to work Tuesday 11-7, Wednesday 8-5, and Thursday 8-5 but are open to schedule discussion.
This position would ideally begin in July.

Responsibilities and duties:
As a dental hygienist you will operate fairly autonomously and report directly to Dr. Shaw. Responsibilities are typical of a dental hygienist role in a practice focused on general dentistry, such as:
- Educate patients on oral health and preventative care
- Clean and help protect patients’ teeth
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
- Conduct screenings and check oral health history
- Take radiographs and intraoral photos
- Perform Scaling and Root Planing
- Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
- Our office is taking all extra precautions to keep our patients and staff safe. We will provide all the necessary PPE required by ADA, CDC, and OSHA.
Qualifications and skills
- Registered Dental Hygienist License in Masschusetts (Required)
- CPR certified
- All levels of experience welcome
