Job OverviewA dental receptionist's responsibilities include:
Customer service: Greeting patients and visitors, and providing excellent customer service
Scheduling appointments: Scheduling and canceling appointments
Answering phone calls: Answering calls from patients, suppliers, and insurance companies
Verifying insurance: Verifying insurance information and filing insurance claims
Managing patient records: Handling patient records and updating them as needed
Processing payments: Collecting payments and developing and implementing payment plans
Conducting and maintaining a recall system to help maintain a patient's oral health and to help dentists monitor their patients' health
Maintaining the front desk: Ensuring the waiting area is clean and welcoming
Communicating with others: Acting as a liaison between patients and dental staff, and communicating with insurance companies, vendors, and partners
Multitasking: Handling a variety of tasks at the same time
Must have at least 1 year of Full-time work experience as a Dental Office Receptionist.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 40 per week
