Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist for part time work, and possibly full time, to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring that patients have a positive experience during their visits.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary choices, and preventive care
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatment plans using our computer software
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs
Stay updated on the latest dental practices, technologies, and medical terminology

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to dentistry
Familiarity with general dentistry practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated
