Registered Dental Hygienist - Children's Dental Care of Norwalk - Norwalk, CT

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist for pediatric practice to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and patient education in a professional dental office setting.
## Duties- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide post-operative instructions- Assist dentists during procedures as needed- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems like Epic- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and quality patient care
## Qualifications- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and pediatric dentistry practices- Familiarity with dental terminology, office procedures, and medical coding
