Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team. We currently have 2 positions available for Fridays and one Saturday a month with no working Saturdays in summers . The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a general family practice.
Duties- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain patient medical records- Administer fluoride treatments- Conduct preliminary dental exams- Sterilize dental instruments- Assist with front office tasks as needed
Requirements- Certification or associate degree in Dental Hygiene- State licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic for medical documentation- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance procedures- Experience working in a dental clinic or office setting- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
