Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist - Capistrano Children's & Adult Dentistry - San Juan Capistrano, CA

Capistrano Children’s and Adult Dentistry is looking to hire a motivated Registered Dental Hygienist for a part time position (at least 2 days per week) in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
Our dental office is a staple in the community providing care to infants, children, teens, and adults.
The key responsibilities of the Hygienist are:
-Reviewing and assessing patients’ health history,
-Dental prophylaxis on children and adults
-Assisting with taking x-rays
-Performing procedures for preventive care (OHI, CRA, motivational interviewing)
-Monitoring and efficiently using supplies / equipment (cavitron/laser/digital sensors)
-Accurately acquiring/charting periodontal probing information
-Administration of nitrous oxide/local anesthesia
-Scaling/Root planing procedures
-And other reasonable duties assigned by the supervising Dentist or Office Manager.
We are looking for a team player who is patient friendly, detailed oriented, and has great communication skills. Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

License/Certification:
