Job Description
We are a growing general dentistry practice looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist for Mondays and Tuesdays. We offer a professional and friendly work environment where respect and integrity for our patients and each other are our central core values. You will be a vital part of a team that advocates for the wellbeing of our community through their dental health.
We normally schedule our hygiene appointments for one hour each. Our office is open from Monday to Thursday with occasional Friday scheduling. Our last patient appointment is at 4pm. We offer a potential daily bonus.
Responsibilities
Create a calming environment for our patients
Review medical histories
Take x-rays, intraoral photos, intraoral scans, impressions
Perform preliminary examination, dental prophylaxis, full mouth debridement, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance procedure, administer anesthetic, apply topical fluoride, fabricate bleaching trays or other procedures as permitted by the Dental Board of California
Educate patients regarding their hygiene technique, periodontal disease, caries, parafunctional habits or other conditions as necessary
Sterilize instruments
Document chart notes
Schedule appointments
Be a team player
Requirements
Valid RDH licensure
Working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
