Job Overview**MUST BE ENGLISH/SPANISH BILIGUAL**We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. We are friendly office with friendly staff. We are looking for dental hygienist to start Mondays only for now then add more days as our hygiene schedule is built. We are looking for someone who can work with us for a long term.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with practice protocols.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Review documentation and treatment plans using software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Stay updated on current dental terminology and best practices in general dentistry.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software for patient management.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to perform aseptic techniques during all procedures.
Previous experience in a general dentistry setting is preferred but not mandatory.
