OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of oral health practices. This role requires a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in Eaglesoft or similar software.
Take medical imaging as required for diagnostic purposes.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical records management is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
