Qualifications
· Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment
· Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic dental radiography
· Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pediatric & adolescent patients and their parents
· Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
· RDA License (Required)
Responsibilities
· As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures and providing quality patient care
· Your knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and patient care will contribute to the overall success of our dental practice
· Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of instruments and equipment
· Assist the dentist during dental procedures
· Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
· Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models
· Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
· Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
· Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines
· Assist with managing patient flow
