Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions when required.
Support the dentist in prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatments.
Manage patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and improving skills in four-handed dentistry and assisting roles.
Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable.
