Responsibilities

Assist dentist or hygienist chairside
Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed
Take high quality diagnosable dental radiographs
Clean patient’s teeth by coronal polishing, use of toothbrushes, flossing, administering fluoride
Place sealants
Maintain accurate patient records and charting in dental systems
Educate patients and guardians on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures and manage patient flow efficiently in the clinic.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Qualifications:

Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Texas
Coronal polishing certification preferred
Sealants certification preferred
Current CPR certification preferred
Radiology certification preferred
Nitrous Oxide certification preferred
Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
