Job Description
We are seeking a competent Registered Dental Assistant who has a passion for serving kids and families! We are looking for an energetic and friendly professional to join our team. Candidates should possess the skills to provide excellent ongoing customer service and should have a willingness to perform administrative tasks as needed. Candidates should be well-organized with great attention to detail and should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We are seeking skilled candidates to provide direct or indirect patient care to create efficiency for all day to day office and clinical operations.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers in the dental office
Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room/office clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills
Registered Dental Assistant certification is required
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Strong computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

License/Certification:
Registered Dental Assistant (Required)
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
Nitrous Certification (Preferred)
Coronal Polishing Certification (Preferred)
