Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our fun Pediatric Office. The ideal candidate will love working with children and be a team player. Speaks Spanish a plus
Duties:
- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take dental x-rays- Make impressions of patients' teeth- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Qualifications:
-Speak Spanish
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- X-ray certification preferred- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate assistance
