Dental Assistant - Dental - Pearland - Pearland, TX

We are a small family-oriented dental office in Pearland is looking for a dental assistant (RDA) with a great personality. We pride ourselves on customer service and quality care.
Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare patients for oral examination and assist other dental professionals in providing treatment
Ability to take x-rays, Pano and Intra oral photos on patients of all ages and provide post -operative instructions to parents/patients
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, clean dental carts, and set up instrument trays daily
Assist in Root canals, oral surgery, implants, dentures and other dental procedures
Able to Fabricate Temporary crowns, partial/Denture Adjustments, etc
Apply sealants, monitor nitrous, coronal polishing, and application of fluoride
Order and stock dental clinic supply as needed and organize the dental treatment room daily
Review charts and schedule for the next day’s clinics to ensure the necessary information is available for the dentist
Schedule patients for next appointment
Educate and counsel patients on dental health, plaque control, oral hygiene and nutrition
Maintain the appearance and order of the dental office Other duties and tasks, as assigned by the supervisor
Open Dental knowledge a plus

Experience

Education: High School diploma, required
Experience: will train the right candidate
Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to work independently and manage time well
