OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant and an EFDA to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality dental care to patients and support the smooth operation of the dental office.
Summary for EFDA Dental Assistant:
As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), you will play a vital role in supporting dental procedures and enhancing patient care. Reporting to the lead dentist, your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic technique will be essential in ensuring efficient operations. Your premium skills with EMR systems and X-Ray will aid in maintaining accurate patient records and imaging. With your EFDA certification, you will be expected to perform advanced tasks, contributing significantly to the overall success of our dental practice and patient satisfaction.
Summary for the Dental Assistant:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work- Take dental x-rays- Manage infection control, including sterilizing instruments and setting up the rooms- Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

Pay: $18.00 - $38.00 per hour
