Dental Assistant - Dr. Brian LeBon D.D.S. - Metairie, LA

We are looking for an experienced dental assistant who enjoys working with people in a fast paced office. We need an assistant who is familiar with Dentrix and Dexis software and can multitask when needed.
Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare the patient for treatments or checkups making sure they are relaxed and comfortable.
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist with procedures.
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide post-op instructions
Keep the dental operatory’s clean and well-stocked.

Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization
Able to take digital dental X-rays
Reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Additional certification or training is a plus (e.g. EDDA)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
