Stockton Dental Studio is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our expanding Stockton Dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the success of our practice and the overall oral health of our patients.The Dental Assistant role requires a hard-working individual who can also deliver a comfortable experience for our patients. This role reports to the Owner Doctor. Deal Breaker: (Bilingual, English/ Spanish) and minimum 1 year of Dental Assisting experience are required.
Availability: Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
What you’ll be accountable for:

Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including all Oral Surgery, General procedures.
Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have. Obtain and record patient's dental history and vital signs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, as well as maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
Radiography: Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as per dentist's instructions. Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety measures are followed.
Educational Support: Instruct patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Educate patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
