Dental Hygienist needed for longstanding Santa Cruz family-owned dental practice
Our practice has been serving the Santa Cruz community for 40 years and is now in its second generation of family ownership. We have an incredible loyal patient base that we have been taking great care of for decades and we have cared for several generations of families.
We are seeking a RDH who can deliver quality cleanings and educate our patients to achieve optimal dental care. We pride ourselves on patient care as well as an enjoyable, warm and friendly patient experience. We are looking for a team member who enjoys their work, is a good communicator, has a positive outlook, and good attention to detail. If thatâs you, we want to hear from you! We are looking for someone who is a good team player and wants to have fun and build relationships with patients and coworkers. We spend much of our lives at work; it matters to me that my staff is as happy as my patients. We have a long term stable staff in all positions and are filling positions due to retirement and moving out of state.
We partner with periodontists and our RDH mainly does prophies, with some Sc/Rp (mostly on new patients), some periodontal maintenance. My assistant does all routine x-rays and I do perio charting. I want my RDH to focus on patient care & education and a full hour is dedicated to each patient in your own dedicated room. I dedicate time to full exams in my room and I do not interrupt your treatment time unless you request input.
A full-time position is Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break. We are also open to multiple part-time hygienists so please apply if you are interested in part-time as well.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $63.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 â 32 per week
