Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you will:
Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for their dental examinations.
Properly sterilize dental instruments to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Conduct initial oral health assessments and review patients' dental histories.
Identify oral health issues such as gingivitis, cavities, and periodontitis.
Perform thorough teeth cleanings, including plaque removal and fluoride applications.
Educate patients of all ages on effective oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Provide post-operative instructions following dental procedures.
Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed.
Collaborate with dentists to determine appropriate treatments for various dental conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory of dental supplies.
What Weâre Looking For:
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Proficiency in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
Exceptional communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Physical stamina to perform the duties required.
A diploma in Dental Hygiene; a Masterâs degree is advantageous.
A valid license to practice in the state of Florida.
