Your Role: As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the heart of our practice, ensuring that every patient receives exceptional customer service while helping keep our office running smoothly. Your tasks will include:
Greeting and Welcoming Patients: Create a warm and professional environment by greeting patients with a smile and assisting them with the check-in/check-out process.
Scheduling Appointments: Efficiently schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments, ensuring the optimal flow of the day.
Insurance Verification: Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries, ensuring that patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
Administrative Support: Utilize office management software to maintain patient records, manage documentation, and perform essential data entry tasks.
Effective Communication: Be a key point of contact for patients and team members, answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
Collaboration: Work alongside our talented dental team, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment where patient care comes first.
What Weâre Looking For:
Previous Experience: Dental office experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with office management systems and a strong command of data entry (including 10-key typing).
Detail-Oriented: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential in managing patient records and maintaining smooth office operations.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff, using your knowledge of dental terminology to facilitate seamless interactions.
Positive Attitude: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains professionalism and a positive demeanor even during busy times.
