Registered Dental Hygienist - Dental Essentials of Rocky Hill - Rocky Hill, CT

Looking for a part time registered dental hygienist to join our small but caring and friendly team.
Part time offer is for one day per week: Work hours depend on which day of the week is worked. If Monday-Wednesday hours would be 8-5, if Thursday 7-12.
Looking for a team player with a positive attitude who can provide compassionate and gentle care to our patients who view us as their dental home. This is not a corporate or DSO office. Looking for someone who is looking to grow, learn, and expand their capabilities.
Duties include:
- Oral Cancer screenings, Peridontal examination and documentation, taking radiographs as treatment planned, supragingival scaling and polishing, SRP as treatment planned, preventive treatments like sealants, SDF, Curodont, fluoride application, and working cooperatively with dentist to educate patients and diagnose/treatment plan as needed. We discuss with patients the benefits of saliva testing and perio therapies. Interest in airway and myofunctional therapies encouraged as well. Maintenance apts are 1 hour for adult, 30 min for child.
-Work cooperatively with the staff to ensure all tasks in the office are accomplished (cleaning, sterilizing, infection control, etc).

Pay: $47.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 8 per week
