Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating dental impressions.
Take and record vital signs of patients as needed.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed.
Support the dental receptionist with administrative tasks when required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, particularly in pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics.
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental clinic setting.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to perform basic administrative tasks, including managing patient records.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is highly desirable.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a team environment.
