Job Description
Velis Family Dental Care is a family-owned office looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our amazing team. Must be a team player! Help us treat the best patients in town with great hours. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring care of the patient is upheld in a warm and caring environment. This may involve but not limited to preparing and breakdown of treatment rooms, assisting with four handed dentistry technique, sterilizing dental instruments, and performing some basic dental hygiene tasks.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be registered as a Dental Assistant in the state of Washington. You should also have strong patient skills and have the ability to work effectively with limited supervision. Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Prepare patients to be seen by our dentists
Maintain a sterile work environment by sanitizing dental instruments and operatories
Set up instrument trays, treatment materials, and assist in basic dental procedures
Take X-rays of patientsâ teeth
Collect, record, and maintain the dental health records of our patients
Manage dental supplies as needed to maintain the officeâs inventory
Provide patients with information on dental hygiene and oral health
Dental Assistant Requirements:
Registered Dental Assistant
A positive, upbeat attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to provide patients with exceptional care
Knowledge of Dentrix a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 34 per week
