Job Description
Elite Dentistry has an amazing group of staff and our patients also love us and we love our patients. We are looking to add more staff members to our steady paced, modern office.
Our practice in Vancouver, WA. is looking for an RDA to become a member of our awesome and fun team. As a team member with our dental office, you will have the support you need to reach your career goals. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of dental assisting experience. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis software is helpful but not necessary. Be available to work 3 days in Vancouver, WA and occasionally 2 days in Portland, OR. OR Dental assisting license is not necessary.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Set up and breakdown operatories post treatment
Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Perform various office tasks as necessary
Minimum Education and Experience
Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify and Registration with the state of WA
High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
