Job Description
We are looking to hire a full time, experienced dental assistant! We are a privately owned, one dentist practice located in Greenville, SC. Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one hour lunch break. We occasionally work on Friday. Years of experience will determine pay. Requirements
X-ray certification
at least 1 year of experience
strong communication and organization skills
a positive attitude and a commitment to patient care and comfort
Responsibilities
Assist the Dental Hygienist with seating patients, updating x-rays, and presenting treatment plans.
Assist the Dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques.
Take dental radiographs, adhering to safety standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure the sterilization of dental tools and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27 â 36 per week
