Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Maintain accurate dental documentation and patient records.
Take dental X-rays and assist with imaging as needed.
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling and confirming visits.
Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
Support front desk operations as needed, including tasks related to dental reception duties.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Utilization of Dentrix software for efficient practice management.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Proficiency in dental documentation practices and familiarity with aseptic techniques.
Knowledge of X-ray procedures and ability to perform basic imaging tasks.
Experience with dental software system Dentrix is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is desirable.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 36 per week
