Job Description
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL ABILITY REQUIRED: Innate ability to lead, great problem solver,
motivated, dependable, warm, friendly personality as you are interacting with our
patients and all dental personnel within the office. You must be detail oriented as you
need to work efficiently, must demonstrate active listening skills and be disciplined as
you are required to adhere to strict guidelines and procedures that are set to meet OSHA
and office standards. You must hold a certified Registered Dental Assistant License within
the state you are employed.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Chairside:
ï· Provide exceptional dental care to our patients.
ï· Be ready and prepared for all patient visits. Plan ahead and anticipate both patient
and doctor needs. Be excellent in assisting your doctor with all aspects of dental
care. All chart notes completed at the end of each patient visit.
ï· Develop rapport and trust with patient to enable open communication around oral
health. Be able to effectively develop and communicate TX plan with doctor,
patient and front desk in order to achieve patient acceptance.
ï· Keep work area and operatories clean and stocked.
ï· Complete daily task sheets for beginning and end of day tasks.
ï· Responsible for working efficiently with Doctors, other dental assistants and dental
personnel within the office to ensure efficient patient flow according to schedule
demands and daily production/collection goals.
ï· Assist in the efficient management of sterilization, supplies and equipment.
ï· Responsible for the maintenance of emergencies carts and first aid supplies in the
office to ensure properly stocked properly and up to date.
ï· Responsible for tracking and ensuring all maintenance schedules for dental
equipment are current and up to date.
Office Support:
ï· Support the scheduling of recall appointments, confident in the financial pre-
qualifying of recall appointments.
ï· Maintain regular attendance, be punctual and adhere to
assigned work schedule and office policies as instructed in Employee Handbook
ï· Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
ï· Develop culture of trust.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two/ three years clinical experience r
RDAâs are required to maintain licensing at their own expense as well as the mandatory
state minimal requirements for continuing education credits to ensure their dental
license stays active
