Job Description
Pediatric dental office seeking a dependable and energetic part-time dental assistant to add to our team.
Our office is committed to providing quality and compassionate dental care to toddlers, children, and young teens, so a love for children is a must. Experience in a pediatric dental office is a plus, but not required.
Duties of the assistant include:
Prepare examination and treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean work environment.
Obtain diagnostic dental radiographs. Provide support/assistance to dentist, and other team members as needed during procedures.
Update and maintain patient dental records.
Educate patients and parents by giving oral hygiene instructions.
Work in a team environment with other dental assistants to help maintain efficiency in the office.
The position will be Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm and the first and second Thursday of the month 8:00am-12:00pm. Compensation is based on experience, but we will train the right candidate.
