Office Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30 am - 4 pm (or until close)
Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 am - 1 pm
Role and Responsibilities:
The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist chair-side in all aspects of patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments for procedures
Assist dentist during dental treatments by providing instruments (four-handed dentistry), suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as requested by the dentist
Apply fluoride treatments, and other preventive measures
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
Assist with inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
What We're Looking For:
At least 1 year of dental assisting experience
Current Dental Assistant License
X-ray certification
Detail-oriented, dependable, and great with patients
