Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team for a PART - TIME position. This position will be Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday. There may be room to add additional days. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments & managing patient flow.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential.
Xray Certified in the state of Indiana.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - willing to hire new grads!
Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices is crucial.
