Job Description
Our family-oriented general dental practice is looking for a Assistant with at least 1 years of experience. (Prior dental office experience is required)We are looking for a self-motivated staff member who follows direction well, on time and is team-oriented. You must be proficient in customer service and able to multitask. Friendliness is a must to keep the family-like atmosphere of our European-style office.
Responsibilities
Prepare patient for procedures
Use of Trios and iTero scanners
Assisting with procedures such as Exams, Fillings, Crowns, Extractions and Implants
Pre and Post-procedure cleaning of room and instruments
Taking X-rays and Photos
Charts accurately
Post Completed Procedures under the correct provider and Treatment Plans by order in which it needs to be completed
Creating lab slips
Taking dental impressions and pouring impressions
Making temporary crowns
Knowledge of equipment and instruments
Fill out forms of consent to treatment
Always be in the Operatory with Doctor and Patient
Walk patients to our check-out area and let staff know if other appointments are needed and what is needed next
Help with task and duties from sterilization list, including instruments
Always get room ready for the next day after your last patient of the day
Mop floor, sanitize room, suction lines
Hours: Wednesday 8:45am-7:00pm with opportunity to grow
