Position: Endodontic Dental Assistant
Location: Downtown and Skokie, IL
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Endodontic Dental Assistant for a long-term role within our downtown office. The ideal candidate will also be able to travel to our Skokie office. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some Saturdays in Skokie from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the endodontist during procedures, including root canal treatments, surgeries, and other specialized procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure the sterilization of equipment to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Take patient X-rays and assist with patient education and post-operative care instructions.
Manage patient records with accuracy and efficiency.
Provide exceptional chairside assistance to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Previous experience in endodontics is preferred, though a strong willingness to learn and adapt is also valued.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.
