Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and caring Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and orthodontic procedures, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for young patients.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Pediatric dentist and orthodontist during procedures• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments• Take digital X-rays and impressions• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and orthodontic care• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation• Provide a friendly, calming environment for children and families• Manage supplies and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or relevant state certification• Experience in pediatric and/or orthodontic dentistry preferred• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work well with children and anxious patients• Knowledge of dentrix software and X-ray equipment• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
