Certified Dental Assistant - Tomoka Periodontics and Implant Dentistry - Daytona Beach, FL

We are a specialized periodontal practice providing top-quality patient care in a professional and friendly environment. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our team and assist in surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assist the periodontist during examinations and surgical procedures

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols

Take and develop digital X-rays, scans and impressions as needed

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Ensure a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Support front desk operations when needed, including scheduling and patient communication

Requirements:

Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA)

Experience in a periodontal or surgical dental setting is preferred but not required

Proficiency in taking X-rays and assisting in surgical procedures

Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge of dental software is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
