Job Description
We are looking for a dental assistant/sterilization technician to join our team. We are open to various levels of experience and willing to provide training for someone who is interested in entering the oral surgery field. The work week is typically four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for Wednesday shifts and overtime.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist with surgeries including providing airway support and monitoring vital signs
preoperative and postoperative guidance to patients
Take panorex, CT, and periapical x-rays
Set-up and take down of surgical rooms
Instrument sterilization and stocking/organizing surgical supplies
Qualifications:
CPR and X-ray certification preferred
1 year of dental experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Detail oriented and organized
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
